about THE tUSA FAMILY...
Rocco’s Pizza and the Hollywood Broadwalk became synonymous nearly three decades ago when Hollywood Beach began emerging as a major tourist destination with vacationers traveling from near and far to enjoy the nearly year-round perfect weather and beautiful beaches.
The current owner, Gaetano Tusa began his illustrious career in the very kitchen of the business he now owns. Eager to learn and grow, Gaetano, known to everyone as Guy, developed an appreciation for this magical business located on the beautiful beach he loves and treasures that appreciation extended beyond simply being an employee.
Knowing the attention to detail and quality that was shown by the original owners, Guy knew that Rocco’s Pizza was destined for greatness and he wanted it to be a permanent part of his future. After several years of working in the kitchen he bought Rocco’s and turned what was originally a pizza take -out window into a dine-in family style restaurant with more than 100 seats.
Rocco’s Pizza is family run with his two sons and mother-in-law all working regular shifts just as the employees who are all part of the Rocco’s Pizza family. This commitment to family and Guy’s love for community and the environment has encouraged him to work on making his own difference in the world through his business life.
In 2018, Rocco’s Pizza became a Founding Partner (a lifetime status) for SeeMyBeach.com, a company that is involved in projects that make positive impacts on the communities they serve. The company is supported by environmentalists and artists including the world’s most collected living artist, Wyland, this era’s Ansel Adams, Clyde Butcher, Animal Planet’s Gator Boys alumni, Ashley Lawrence, Chris Gillette and many others. Rocco’s is also funding a litter cleanup and will be a Sponsor of HelpEndAllLitter.org, an organization founded by 14 year old Izabella Hernandez, who engages school children to become HealKIDZ that come together and clean litter in groups and pledge to clean “Some litter…some where…every day…for the rest of their lives”. Guy and Rocco’s Pizza believes that it is important to give back to organizations that protect the beach and environment he treasures.
Guy and the Rocco’s Pizza family loves and appreciates every person who chooses to dine at our restaurant and feel that it is a privilege to serve you the finest pizza, seafood, Italian dishes and more in our newly remodeled restaurant located next to the Hollywood Beach Bandshell where you can enjoy your meal while listening to an amazing band while looking at an amazing view of the majestic Atlantic Ocean.
